Sustainable agriculture, sourced from certified Rainforest Alliance farms.
Lavazza ¡Tierra! Origins Brazil Espresso is a superior blend of Brazilian Arabica and “Conillon” - a variety of washed Robusta - which creates an espresso with an intense profile and a refined taste.
The blend is characterised by mellow hints which envelop the palate with a perfect balance of sweetness, cocoa, and hazelnuts. Mellow roasting, following the ancient "drum" method, guarantees a perfect espresso.
The Conillon robusta beans are produced on a hillside south of Espirito Santo, at an altitude of 200 - 600 meters, characterised by a warm and humid climate. The beans are dried by indirect heating.
The Origins are the latest additions to the Rainforest Alliance-certified ¡Tierra! project, which aims to develop products that continue to improve the social and environmental conditions in coffee-growing communities. The new range reaffirms Lavazza’s commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture and acknowledging the work of everyone involved in the supply chain.
Lavazza's project TIERRA was launched in 2002 to improve the living conditions, social development and economic growth of farming communities. Developed in cooperation with Rainforest Alliance, the project is the result of our strong commitment and dedication to sustainability. It is based on three fundamental core principle: premium product quality, support and care for small communities and respect for the planet.
